Sleep of Oldominion: Swine & Dash Summer 2010 Tour

Sleep of Oldominion is hitting the road with Josh Martinez as The Chicharones! The duo will be traveling with a drummer and a bass/guitar player for this year's Summer tour. Spin recently called The Chicharones, "The Best Bar Band in North America." Its easy to see why. Expect 5-part harmonies, a razor tight band, costume changes, syncopated dance moves, stage magic, standup comedy and the joyful interplay of 10 year veteran performers Sleep and Josh Martinez. And there's also rap.

Kev Brown at U Street Music Hall - June 23, 2010

Kev Brown will be performing with Kaimbr tomorrow, June 23rd at the U Street Music Hall in DC. The two will be performing brand new tracks off their upcoming LP Alexander Green.

If you didn't know, Kaimbr's real name is Al Green, and thus, the idea came about to make an album using all Al Green samples. Add in Kev Brown creating those beats, and you have Alexander Green.
