Because of Chris Clawson's broken arm (Look Daggers drummer), the Daggers band could not make it out, but if you know Ikey, you know he has a million musicians in his rolodex. So, Ikey took members of his other band Free Moral Agents, added his brother Eugene (once the musical director for Lauryn Hill's band) on bass, and viola, you have a show. The crowd: as the "Free Moral Daggers" started their set, they were greeted with chants of "Rae-kwon, Rae-kwon" and of course, "Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang." Unfazed by the restless audience, 2Mex continued his raps and the band continued their musical destruction. As the chanting continued and grew louder, 2Mex took it upon himself to leave the stage, go into the crowd of people, and literally rap directly in their faces all while holding the mic to their mouths as they continued to chant.
I was waiting for a fight to break out. But, slowly and surely, the audience began to quiet down, and chants of "2MEX" became more and more audible, even from those who were once screaming for Raekwon. I have never seen a crowd as hostile (and drunk) as that turn from talking sh-t to giving huge props...a complete 180 in my book.
I think it's safe to say that the "Free Moral Daggers" won the crowd over.
Oh yeahhhh!! We reported last week that Jay Dee's infamous "F-ck The Police" was going to be available for download from iTunes, Amazon and all that other good stuff, but unless you checked it out, you found that it obviously wasn't. The reason? Censorship. F-ck The Police is available now! Spread the word and support!
We previously reported that the show was canceled due to Chris, the Look Daggers drummer, breaking his arm, but Ikey found a few special replacements and it looks like this is going to be an incredible show. Get there early!
One of the greatest on the spot emcees of our time, MC Supernatural, will be making a very special appearance at Shiekhs Shoe store at the Inland Center Mall in San Bernardino, CA tomorrow, Friday, August 7th from 4pm-6pm.

And if you didn't notice, the Jay Dee F-ck The Police single did not make it up on iTunes and other digital sites. There was a problem with the "F-ck" and it will be up next week. Stay tuned!
Tuesday, August 4th will mark the first day you can digitally purchase one of Jay Dee's (aka J Dilla) most well known solo tracks, Fuck The Police.
The anti-authority anthem has one of the most recognizable drum patterns and chorus lines in hip-hop history. All over the world, Fuck The Police can be heard and chanted screaming the infamous, "On the count of three say fuck the police / one, two, three / Fuck The Police!!!"
The digital single comes with the Fuck The Police instrumental and the B-side gem Move which many have slept on in the past, but today is just as recognizable as some of the greatest in Dilla's catalog.
Get the single on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic and any other digital stores where good music is sold.
